Ferrari capitalized on the fighting between Lando and Max scoring at 1-2 in the United States Grand Prix giving Charles Leclerc his 8th win in F1. Now, Ferrari is on the heels of Red Bull in the constructors.
About Mexico

Mexico boasts a rich and complex history that dates back thousands of years, starting with advanced Mesoamerican civilizations such as the Olmecs, Mayans, and Aztecs, whose impressive societal, architectural, and astronomical achievements laid much of the cultural foundation. The dramatic shift came with the Spanish conquest led by Hernán Cortés in 1521, which ushered in three centuries of colonial rule, blending indigenous and Spanish cultures but also triggering significant conflict and change. In the 19th century, Mexico’s quest for independence took form, leading to its establishment as a sovereign nation in 1821. The subsequent years were marked by internal strife, including the Mexican-American War, the French Intervention, and the profound social and economic transformations triggered by the Mexican Revolution in the early 20th century. Today, Mexico is a vibrant tapestry of traditions and modernity, reflecting both its ancient roots and its colonial past in its daily life, culture, and political landscape.
Circuit History

Autódromo Hermanos Rodríguez is a premier motorsport race track located in the heart of Mexico City, named in honor of the famous Mexican racing brothers Ricardo and Pedro Rodríguez. Constructed in 1959 within the public sports complex Magdalena Mixhuca, the circuit has been a staple in the world of international racing, notably hosting the Mexican Grand Prix. Over the years, the track has undergone various modifications to enhance safety and competitiveness, notably featuring a long main straight and the challenging Peraltada turn, before a major redesign in 2015 which introduced new sections to meet FIA standards. Today, it not only serves as a venue for Formula One but also hosts events for NASCAR and other major racing series, celebrated for its vibrant atmosphere and the passionate local fanbase.
Track Characteristics

The current track layout of the Autódromo Hermanos Rodríguez is 4.304 km and the total race distance will be 305.354 km over 71 laps. The circuit is made up of 17 turns, 7 of which are right-handed turns and the other 10 are left-handed turns. The track has two DRS zones located on the start finish straight and between turns 11 and 12.

Current Standings in F1

Could Ferrari make an extremely late lunge in the F1 Constructors Championship following the Charles Leclerc and Carlos Sainz 1-2. Lando Norris was unable to capitalize on the extra points available in the sprint as Max dominated in the sprint and extended the championship gap. Charles Leclerc is right on the heels of Lando Norris for 2nd in the drivers championship the same way Ferrari is on the heels of Red Bull for 2nd in the constructors championship. These title fights could get very interesting in the few remaining races.
